Typical Education and Experience:

Bachelors or Master’s degree from an accredited institution.

Role Description:

Plans, conducts, and coordinates software development activities. Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment. Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle. Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software. Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. Ensures software standards are met.

 

Required Experience & Skills

Specific Experience:  Must possess 6 years of Informatica version 9.6.1 experience

Responsibilities:

  • Must lead the maintenance and development of the extract transform and load (ETL) aspects of the data warehouse.
  • Should maintain an understanding of the inputs received from the data source providers.
  • Should support the analysis, design, development and implementation of new ETL requirements.
  • Should recommend changes to enhance the data warehouse data cleansing and conversion processes.
  • Should support testing and validation of the new data conversion processes.
  • Should act as a lead, responsible for planning and monitoring schedule milestone and deliverables.
  • Must possess effective oral and written skills and strong analytical and problem solving capabilities.
  •   Must be a team player able to work in a dynamic environment and have a working knowledge of the SDLC and the associated processes and documentation.
